Trainers are Supportive
I really enjoy training as AST and I like that the trainers are very supportive and the class work is informative. I think when I finish my course I will definitely be ready to step out into the Aged Care industry
Approachable and Friendly
AST has been amazing since my initial interview. All staff are approachable and friendly.
I never imagined I would get so much support from my course
Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015)
Stimulated and Engaged
I am most grateful for this opportunity to learn after over 40 years. For the first time in my life I will to some extent get to work in a field that means so much to me. I feel relevant and useful for the first time in years
I feel supported, stimulated and engaged in all areas of my study
Certificate IV in Community Services (CHC42015)
Well Worth It
I found the First Aid Course to be extremely beneficial. Having never undertaken First Aid before and raising two boys, it was always a great fear of mine that I would not know what to do.
I have carried that fear of the unknown with me for years but after working through the booklet, and then attending the course, everything came together with both the theory and practical and I find that now I am “looking” for situations to use it. Even watching movies and I am playing the scenarios out and quietly screaming out the instructions in my head. It is very reassuring to know that I could assist someone in a situation where they are helpless and facilitate their recovery, safety and stabilisation until further assistance arrives. Well worth it!!!
Staff at AST are Always There
In a “Time Poor” teaching world AST provides the administrative support that VET teachers need. The Building and Construction course resources are constantly updated and staff at AST are always there to assist with any administrative areas. The AST Portal “website” is intuitive and offers a seamless solution for uploading and downloading the required documents for compliance. I would highly recommend AST as your partner for the delivery of VET Building and Construction in your school.
Easy to Work With
AST are easy to work with, organised and flexible – allowing us to meet the needs of all of our staff.
Their professional training was thorough, ensuring we felt very confident with our knowledge.
Organisation of Choice
AST is the organisation of choice when it comes to refreshing my First Aid and CPR skills.
Their online assessment allows me to complete the pre-practical training requirements quickly, efficiently, and at a time that best suits me. The immediate feedback on competency and areas of improvement is invaluable.
The short courses are fast paced, interactive, interesting, and practical. As they are only 1-4 hours long, they easily fit around work and personal commitments.
I would recommend them to all my friends and colleagues.
Bendigo Baptist Church regularly utilises Colin Flitton and Access Skills Training to assist our staff with First Aid training. Our experience over the many years has been incredibly positive and we would highly recommend their training to your organisation and staff team.
Opportunity to learn
Dear Julie, Charmaine and Malcolm,
Thank you for providing training to our Copy Centre Supported Employees over the past twelve months.
For those individuals and Windarring in general, this has been a most successful venture. It was clear to see at the presentation evening how much the achievement meant to each person there. And from feedback from their peers, parents and Windarring staff, each person has grown and developed through the training. The participants spoke very positively of the course and the presenters and could detail exactly how they had been encouraged and supported to achieve, what they had learnt and how it had benefitted them. They were also awakened to the thought of future opportunities in both work and further training.
I believe this partnership between Access Skills Training and Windarring has been highly successful. I look forward to continuing it well into the future and seeing more people benefit from the opportunity to learn.
So thank you and congratulations on making this so successful.
An amazing journey
I successfully completed Certificate III in Aged Care and feel honoured to be awarded as BUPA Aged Care Studies of the Year.
What I enjoyed the most about this course is the way it was run by the trainer. Each unit was very well explained and I was given every opportunity to learn. Overall it has been an amazing journey in my life. Thanks Access Skills Training!
