10710NAT - Course in Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness

This nationally accredited course provides knowledge on the recognition and management of Anaphylaxis, risk assessment and risk minimisation and Anaphylaxis First Aid
Duration 1 night class x 3 hours 6:00PM – 9:00PM

HLTAID004 - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

Participants must complete an online component or workbook, for this unit, before attending class

This unit is for educators, support staff, carers and parents. The Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) has endorsed HLTAID004 as satisfying all educator requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma training: as outlined by National Regulations.

Duration:  2 nights x 4 hours 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

HLTAID001 - Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

CPR qualifications must be renewed each year and can be completed by attending the relevant parts of the Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 course as follows: Attend three hours on the first day or all of the first evening of the Provide First Aid courses.
 Duration 1 night class x 3 hours 6:00PM – 9:00PM

HLTAID001 - Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

Participants must show evidence of CPR or First Aid certificate, gained within the last twelve months, in order to attend the Quick Update.
Attend the first hour of the Quick Update – Provide First Aid HLTAID003 courses.
Duration 1 night class x 1 hours 6:00PM – 7:00PM

HLTAID001 - Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

Participants must show evidence of CPR or First Aid certificate, gained within the last twelve months, in order to attend the Quick Update.
Attend the first hour of the Quick Update – Provide First Aid HLTAID003 courses.
Duration 1 day class x 1 hours 10:30AM – 11:30AM

HLTAID001 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid Day

Participants must complete an online component or workbook, for this unit, before attending class.  This is equivalent to the Level 2 First Aid
 
This course teaches the fundamental principles, knowledge and skills to enable the first aider to provide emergency care for injuries and illnesses, including CPR. Participants are required to complete and return a workbook prior to undertaking practical training in a day class or two evening classes as listed above. Assessment is by practical demonstration and completion of theory assessment tasks. The initial workbook forms part of the assessment. The First Aid qualification is valid for three years before it must be renewed while the CPR component must be renewed each year.

Duration: 1 day x 6 hours, 9:00am – 3:30pm

HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid Night

Participants must complete an online component or workbook, for this unit, before attending class.  This is equivalent to the Level 2 First Aid

Participants must present a current copy of a First Aid or CPR qualification that has been completed in the last 12 months to be eligible for this course
