10th Anniversary Gala Dinner Notre Dame College’s McAuley Champagnat Program

Access Skills Training (AST) have had a long standing relationship with MCP as an auspice partner for VET in School programs, in particular Certificates in general Education for Adults. Julie Hasler, Senior School Support Officer and Emma Hoskins, Group Leader for External Training Services, attended the 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner on 29th October 2015.

This celebration was extended to MCP Family and Friends and AST was proud to attend as a sign of the continued support for this programme. Inspiring stories were delivered by 2 prior students who talked about their life before MCP, during their time at MCP and where their life has taken them since they graduated. To hear the story of one student who said that she was ‘dwelling, not living’ prior to her time at MCP and is now living in Melbourne, attending RMIT and planning a trip to work in the summer camps in America is just one example of why AST is proud to support this programme.

MCP is an innovative educational program designed to meet the educational needs of disengaged and at risk students in the greater Shepparton area. MCP offers a valid, alternate education pathway with a ‘cutting edge’ holistic approach.
